South Molton in London’s Mayfair district will be the home of the the UK’s first Oberoi Hotel.
A partnership between Grosvenor and EIH London Investments Ltd, the luxury boutique hotel will showcase Oberoi’s design and service standards to the UK capital.
Grosvenor secured planning permission for the restoration of the 33,000-square-feet Listed Building at 40-46 Brook Street in 2022, as part of its wider South Molton development.
The project, currently the West End’s largest mixed-use development, will include the hotel, new office space, housing, cafes, shops, restaurants, and community and leisure spaces.

South Molton will serve as a new gateway into Mayfair, drawing an estimated £6.5 million (US$8.3 million) in spend annually, creating 1,000 permanent jobs and an additional 450 jobs and apprenticeships during construction.
Work began on site in November 2023, with all phases scheduled for completion by the end of 2027.
