Alternative service will move from Bucharest Henri Coanda International to Bucharest Băneasa – Aurel Vlaicu International
Wizz Air Abu Dhabi will relocate its Bucharest services from Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport to Bucharest Băneasa – Aurel Vlaicu International Airport from March 2025.
According to the UAE low-cost carrier, the relocation is part of the airline’s ongoing efforts to enhance the comfort of those travelling to and from Bucharest, the capital of Romania and a city popular with tourists.
Its best known for its landmark communist-era Palatul Parlamentului government building and the historic Lipscani district, which is home to a livey nightlife scene.
Wizz Air Abu Dhabi passengers are asked to check their emails for correspondence from the airline and to confirm their new airport of departure or arrival ahead of travel.

Passengers who purchased their tickets through online travel agencies are required to contact the agencies and acknowledge the changes.
