Study reveals world’s most cultured cities


The new index by Cruise Nation ranked cities based on museums, landmarks and heritage sites

Cruise Nation has created an index, with data points considering the number of museums, iconic landmarks, theatres, UNESCO World Heritage Sites and notable music venues to reveal the world’s most cultured tourism cities.

London was ranked the world’s most cultured city among those most visited cities, with an index score of 90/100. The UK capital scored highly for notable music venues and theatres, with more than 200 listed and reviewed on Tripadvisor.

In second was Paris (88/100) and in third place was Tokyo (85/100). Tokyo came out on top for museums, sights and landmarks, with 4,248 listed and reviewed on Tripadvisor.
