Royal Air Maroc resumes Casablanca-Doha flights

Flights to Doha had been suspended since March 2020 due to the pandemic

Royal Air Maroc will resume its daily flights between Mohamed Fifth airport in Casablanca and Hamad International airport (DOH) in Doha, starting 12 September.

Flights will depart from Casablanca at 14:45 arriving in Doha at 12:15 the next day and will then depart Doha at 02.15 and arrive in Casablanca at 08:10.

Royal Air Maroc signed a codeshare agreement with Qatar Airways in 2015 for shared passenger and cargo capacity and will be the only airline to operate a direct flight between Casablanca and Doha. The route will be flown by a Boeing 787-9 with a capacity of 302 seats, including 26 business class seats.

Commenting on the  the Royal Air Maroc chairman and CEO Hamid Addou said: “This partnership allows us to offer additional benefits to our customers in terms of quality of travel and service on board the planes of both airlines and on the most prestigious Oneworld alliance network to which we are affiliated." 

This new daily flight will allow Royal Air Maroc to play its role of transporting supporters of the Moroccan national football team, as well as fans from all around Africa to the upcoming FIFA World Cup, which will take place in Qatar from 20 November to 18 December 2022.
