Presidential Milanese Suite features two connecting terraces overlooking the Milan's rooftops
Marriott International’s The Luxury Collection has added Casa Brera to its portfolio in Italy.
The Milan hotel, which opened in September 2024, joins the group’s collection of 30 luxury hotels that includes Dubai’s Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa, The Wellesley Knightsbridge in London and Bab Samhan Diriyah, which recently debuted in Saudi Arabia.
This move brings the number of Luxury Collection hotels in Italy to four, including Excelsior Hotel Gallia, also in Milan, Hotel Cala Di Volpe in Costa Smeralda and The Gritti Palace in Venice.
Located in the Piazzetta Bossi, near Teatro alla Scala and the buzzing Brera neighbourhood, the design of the 116-key hotel is curated by renowned designer Patricia Urquiola and pays homage to the Rationalist architecture of the1950s-designed building. Geometric graphics feature on walls, floors and ceilings, while Italian granite and green marble are used throughout and artworks celebrate Milan’s central role in fashion.
The 101 guestrooms and 15 suites further reflect Milanese design, combining walnut, marble, brass and printed glass with custom artworks, modular seating and geometric wool rugs. The Studio comes with a balcony, while the Junior Suite includes a mirror-topped drinks bar and the Brera Suite features a furnished terrace with views over the narrow streets.
The Presidential Milanese Suite offers two connecting terraces overlooking the Milanese rooftops with a dining table for up to 10 people.
