Kuwait's Jazeera Airways launches flights to Shiraz, Iran

The low-cost carrier will operate direct flights twice a week

Kuwait-based Jazeera Airways will fly twice a week (Wednesday and Sunday) to Shiraz – its second destination in Iran after Mashhad – from 4 June 2023.

Travellers from Iran will also benefit from Kuwait's additional connections to various destinations in Jazeera’s network, including cities in Saudi Arabia catering to religious travellers and leisure trips to Turkiye and Central Asia.

One-way fares to Shiraz start from US$94.

Jazeera Airways chief executive officer Rohit Ramachandran said: “We're pleased to welcome Shiraz into our growing network of destinations. Iran is an important part of our expansion plans, and we are looking forward to flying to more destinations in the country in the near future.  

"By starting direct flights to different cities in Iran, we offer passengers from Kuwait, especially the large Iranian community, better connectivity to the country at affordable prices.”     

Jazeera Airways currently has 66 destinations in its global network.
