Ex-England stars Michael Owen and Gary Cahill to lead coaching sessions

Jumeirah Beach Hotel has announced the return of its children’s Football Escapes camp during this October’s half-term.

The football camp will welcome England football legends Michael Owen and Gary Cahill, supported by a team of Uefa-licensed coaches.

Three separate camps are being offered over a three-week period. The first will run from 16-20 October 2023; the second, coached by Gary Cahill, from 23-27 October; the third, lead by Michael Owen, from 30 October to 3 November.

Taking place at Janat Al Bahar, the hotel’s events arena, Football Escapes aims to improve children’s soccer skills, from passing and shooting to decision-making and tactical awareness.

The camps are available for children aged between five and 15. Each participant will receive a fully personalised Rascal x Football Escapes training kit and a medal on completion.

On booking, they will also get a personalised video message from one of the ambassadors, along with a signed shirt to treasure as a souvenir of their incredible half-term holiday.

Prices for the Football Escapes camps start at US$820 per child. The price does not include flights or accommodation.
