IHG's first hotel in the emirate, the Voco Sharjah, is scheduled to open in 2027
IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of a management agreement to bring a Voco hotel to Sharjah, the alcohol-free emirate in the UAE.
The new 191-room hotel will be located near the Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club on the Al Dhaid-Masafi Road, a short drive from Sharjah International Airport.
The development will be part of a master plan encompassing retail spaces and offices resulting in a mixed-use area that is expected to attract tourists and corporate visitors.

Voco Sharjah will feature an all-day dining restaurant, a gym, a pool and spa facilities, as well as 5,000 square feet of meeting spaces for conferences and events.
Introduced in 2018, Voco is on track to become IHG’s fastest-growing brand. Voco Sharjah will complement several recent Voco brand signings across the region, including in Riyadh, Cairo and Beirut.
