Gilt at Jumeirah Burj Al Arab lifts minimum spend restriction

Exclusive Dubai bar will offer cigar and cognac pairings

One of Dubai’s most globally recognised hotel bars has broadened its appeal by removing its minimum spend requirement.

Gilt at Jumeirah Burj Al Arab, which offers panoramic views of the Gulf, said the move would allow guests, tourists and residents a ‘reimagined bar and lounge experience’.

A spokesperson said: "This approach changes the perception of the need for a minimum amount and makes the sublime venue a must-visit location for residents and tourists alike."

The bar will also offer premium cigar and cognac pairings in a lavish setting and guests can make reservations at a dedicated reservation stand at the entrance of the hotel.

Gilt is one of a selection of restaurants and bars on offer at Jumeirah’s flagship hotel, including award-winning Ristorante L’Olivo at Al Mahara and Al Muntaha.

Jumeirah Burj Al Arab continues to be one of Dubai’s recognised landmarks. The hotel has earned numerous accolades, including being recognised as the Number One City Hotel in North Africa and the Middle East by the US-based magazine Travel + Leisure, and a five-star rating in Forbes Travel Guide in 2023.
