The Dubai carrier's cabin crew represents 140 different nationalities
Dubai-based carrier Emirates has reached a milestone of 20,000 cabin crew members.
Since 2022, the airline has hosted recruitment events in 340 cities across six continents, reflecting the diversity of its cabin crew and the destinations it serves.
Many crew members have long been with Emirates many years, through this period of growth. The team features three crew members who have been with the airline for more than 30 years; 400 crew members who have crossed the milestone of 20 years of service; 1,500 crew who have served 15 to 19 years, almost 3,000 crew who have served between 10 and 14 years, and more than 4,000 crew who have served between five and nine years.

Emirates’ longest serving cabin crew Moosa Mubarak said: ‘I’ve flown as Emirates’ cabin crew for 36 years on more than 3,500 flights. Mentoring my crew colleagues and serving as an ambassador for Emirates and my country is what I'm most proud of.’
The instantly recognisable Emirates cabin crew uniform has undergone four transformations in the last three decades, and Mubarak, a male Emirati purser who joined in 1987, has worn most of them.
