UAE-based travel management company DW Travel has marked a historic year achieving a 39% year-on-year growth in sales and a 65% year-on-year increase in revenue for 2023 as a result of a surge in gross sales, with a 55% increase in 2023 compared to pre-pandemic levels in 2019.

This substantial growth is indicative of the strong customer demand for both business and leisure travel, and DW Travel attributes its record-breaking year on its ability to capitalise on emerging opportunities and meet evolving customer demands.

Commenting on the financial performance, DW Travel director Bader Ahli (pictured) said: "One of the standout successes of 2023 was the performance of DW Travel's Visa Services Department, which experienced a 141% increase in transactions in only its second year of operation, underscoring the company's expertise and effectiveness in providing essential travel services to its diverse clientele.”

Last year also witnessed the introduction of DW Travel's VIP and Luxury department, catering to clients seeking exclusive travel experiences.

DW Travel's top-selling destinations for holidays in 2023 included the UK, the US, Thailand, Switzerland, Turkey and Germany. Emerging destinations included Poland, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Indonesia and India, reflecting evolving travel preferences among consumers.
