Bahrain's Gulf Air to launch seasonal Manama-AlUla flights

New flights from Bahrain capital will help support Saudi's inbound tourism goals

Bahrain's flag carrier Gulf Air is expanding its operations to Saudi Arabia with the addition of flights to AlUla as a seasonal destination.

The seasonal flights will operate twice a week from 3 February to 6 March 2024 and then again after Ramadan from 10 to 27 April.

Gulf Air will fly twice a week to the ancient Saudi city on a A320-Neo aircraft. GF 0191 will depart Bahrain International at 15:10 and land in AlUla at 17:30. The return flight, GF0192, will depart from AlUla International at 18:15 and land back in Bahrain at 20:05.

A Gulf Air spokesperson said: "This offers an opportunity for travellers to explore this cultural destination with its distinctive history, scenery and exciting activities.

"The introduction of the AlUla route is a prominent addition to Gulf Air’s seasonal destinations for 2024, with more exciting destinations to be added later this year."
