Air Arabia issues travel advisory for summer holiday rush

Online check-in and early luggage drop-offs mean fliers can walk straight to their gates – no queuing required

With the summer travel season at its peak, Air Arabia is giving passengers more options to facilitate smooth travel during the expected rush at departure airports, from checking in online to dropping bags off luggage facilities in advance.

The low-cost carrier is advising to use the online check-in service to avoid long queues at the airport. Customers are required to fill in their reservation number, name, flight date, and numbers 36 hours prior to departure time.

City check-in facilities around the UAE are also available to speed up the process with passengers able to drop off luggage within 24 hours and eight hours prior to flight departure at one of Air Arabia’s six facilities located in Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman and Al Ain.

Travelers can also collect their boarding passes at these facilities, allowing them the opportunity to proceed directly to the flight upon arrival at the airport.

With large numbers of travellers, arriving at the airport at least three hours ahead of departure is advised.

Travellers are also required reminded that they to be at their designated gates 45 minutes before take-off.
