Two Cheval Blanc properties also join growing UAE-based hotel family
Two of Abu Dhabi’s most luxurious resorts, The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort and Al Wathba, a Luxury Collection Desert Resort & Spa (pictured) are now part of the emirate’s National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels (NCT&H) portfolio.
Two international properties have also been added, Cheval Blanc Randheli in the Maldives and the newly opened Cheval Blanc Seychelles, which only opened its doors in December 2024.
They will join NCT&H’s existing Abu Dhabi hotels InterContinental Abu Dhabi, InterContinental Residences Abu Dhabi, Danat Al Ain Resort, Danat Jebel Dhanna Resort, and Dhafra Beach Hotel.
The move to add the four high-end properties was made possible thanks to the recent partnership with Alpha Dhabi Holding which acquired a controlling stake in NCT&H in January 2025.
“The integration of these prestigious assets marks a transformative chapter for NCT&H, positioning us as a key player in the global luxury hospitality market,” said HE Tareq Abdulraheem Al Hosani, Chairman of the Board - NCT&H.

Founded in 1996, NCT&H has a diversified portfolio spanning hotel management, catering, retail and hospitality services.
This latest expansion aligns with NCT&H’s long-term strategy of enhancing its offerings while contributing to the UAE’s economic diversification and promoting Abu Dhabi as a tourism destination.
In January 2025, NCT&H’s Al Raha Beach Hotel was rebranded as Al Raha Beach Resort & Spa.
The beachfront property in Abu Dhabi has 278 rooms, suites and villas with a focal point being the 900-metre private beach. From February 2025, Starting in February, the property introduced expanded spa and wellness facilities.
