Qatar Airways adds new Saudi flights to network

The Doha-based airline will fly to AlUla and Tabuk

Qatar Airways has announced the launch of flights to two new destinations in Saudi Arabia: AlUla and Tabuk.

Qatar Airways will commence operations to AlUla from 29 October 2023, and to Tabuk from 14 December. The airline will also resume services to Yanbu on 6 December. 

AlUla, known for its historical treasures, will be serviced with two weekly flights and Tabuk, nestled amid mountains and valleys, will be serviced by three weekly flights. The port city of Yanbu will also be connected with three weekly flights.

Commenting on the announcement, Qatar Airways group chief executive HE Akbar al-Baker said: "We're thrilled to introduce AlUla and Tabuk as our newest destinations in Saudi Arabia. These cities offer a wealth of cultural, historical, and natural experiences, and we are proud to connect travellers from around the world to these remarkable places."

Qatar Airways now flies to nine cities in Saudi Arabia, operating more than 125 flights weekly. 

Destinations include Dammam, Gassim, Jeddah, Medina, Riyadh and Taif.
