More than 88,000 tourists arrived at the terminal in Zayed Port last month

As an indication of the region’s burgeoning cruise sector, Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal, part of AD Ports Group, recorded its highest number of international cruise passengers during a one-month period in January 2023.

Last month, more than 88,000 tourists arrived at the terminal in Zayed Port, with an additional 42,000 arriving on Sir Bani Yas Island.

Elsewhere in the region, AD Ports Group announced the opening of the first cruise terminal in the Jordanian city of Aqaba in January 2023, marking the first of its five strategic mega-projects being planned in the kingdom.
