Cruise line's Arabian Gulf programme sails until March 2025 and returns next winter
Celestyal cruise line has marked its first visits to Khasab in Oman and the UAE ports of Sir Bani Yas Island and Abu Dhabi with a series of plaque exchange ceremonies.
The maiden calls took place as part of the line’s first ‘Desert Days’ voyage, a seven-night cruise on flagship Celestyal Journey, that departed from the Qatar capital of Doha on 30 November 2024.
Celestyal Discovery will join Celestyal Journey in the region at the end of 2025, sailing three-night long weekend ‘Iconic Arabia’ cruises round-trip from Abu Dhabi, calling at Doha and Sir Bani Yas Island, and four-night mid-week ‘Iconic Arabia’ cruises, sailing roundtrip from Abu Dhabi, calling at Fujairah, Muscat and Khasab.

The ceremonies were attended by Celestyal representatives, including CEO Chris Theophilides and Captain George Koumpenas.
