Hotel Cala Di Volpe, Sardinia, Italy, resort view
Reopening in May 2025, this 1960s-designed resort that served as the backdrop for Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me has undergone a transformation. Among the 121 refurbished rooms, a penthouse designed by the Harrods Interior Design Studio features three suites, a vaulted wine cellar, marble bar, rooftop terrace and infinity pool. The hotel's saltwater swimming pool is among the largest in Europe, and there’s a Shiseido Spa, tennis and padel courts and a kids’ club. Dining includes an outpost of Monte Carlo eaterie BeefBar, alongside Nobu-style Japanese cuisine at Matsuhisa and a venue serving Sardinian buffet.
