The carrier has introduced twice weekly flights to Jeddah from Budapest, Bucharest and Rome
Low-cost airline Wizz Air has begun operating three new routes between Budapest, Bucharest and Rome in Europe and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.
The twice-weekly services from these three European cities to Jeddah offer one-way tickets starting from US$32.
Flights from Budapest will operate on Tuesday and Saturday, Bucharest on Monday and Friday, and flights from Rome to Jeddah are scheduled on Wednesday and Saturday.

Wizz Air signed an MoU with the Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia in May 2022 to support the kingdom’s Air Connectivity Programme, a Ministry of Tourism initiative aimed at enhancing the development of Saudi Arabia's tourism sector.
Commenting on the route launches, Saudi Tourism Authority CEO Fahd Hamidaddin said: “Saudi’s partnership with Wizz Air continues to go from strength to strength. We are thrilled to announce three new routes to Jeddah from Budapest, Bucharest and Rome as a response to market demand.”

Saudi’s Vision 2030 Programme aims to triple passenger traffic in Saudi Arabia by 2030. Wizz Air currently operates 12 routes to Saudi Arabia from its main European hubs.
