Customers seek hybrid health, wellbeing and wildlife holidays
According to African tour operator Discover Africa Safaris a growing number of travellers are seeking hybrid safari holidays that combine wildlife adventures with well-being pursuits.
There has been a 40% increase in online searches for wellness safaris since 2022, indicating that more guests want to focus on their health while enjoying nature and spotting animals.
To meet demand, Discover Africa Safaris has curated wellness safaris to suit different wellbeing requirements. Serian’s Nkorombo in Kenya is offering a seven-night Wifi-free safari at its mobile five-tent camp tracing the Mara River, near the main wildebeest crossing points which sees a lot of activity during migration season from July to November.
