Preferred cities span from Europe to Southeast Asia
London and Manila are the top destinations for Kuwaiti travellers in 2025, according to recent data from Wego, the leading travel app in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Traditionally known for their appreciation of luxury, Kuwaitis are increasingly looking beyond familiar destinations and embracing new cultural encounters.
Analysing current search trends, London remains the crown jewel of European travel for Kuwaitis, topping the list of most searched destinations for 2025.
The British capital's enduring appeal is bolstered by the UK's new Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) programme, which streamlines the visa process with a swift three-day turnaround. This enhanced accessibility is expected to further cement London's position as a favoured city for Kuwaitis this year.

Elsewhere in Europe, cities such as Tbilisi, Milan, Moscow and Baku are also gaining significant traction, offering a blend of cultural experiences that are increasingly attractive to tourists seeking diverse travel experiences.
Southeast Asia continues to be a magnet for Kuwaiti travellers, with Manila leading the pack in flight searches for 2025. This trend underscores the strong ties between Kuwait and the Philippines, likely driven by both leisure travel and the visiting friends and family market.
Meanwhile, Bangkok, Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur remain consistent favourites, demonstrating the region's enduring appeal.
Interestingly, the data shows an expanding horizon of interest, with Tokyo and Seoul emerging as sought-after destinations. This indicates a growing curiosity about East Asian culture among Kuwaitis, signalling a more adventurous approach to travel for the outbound market in future.
