Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah reopens after extensive refurbishment

The rooms and each of the resort's nine F&B concepts have a new look

The Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE is welcoming guests once again.

One of the most notable changes to the resort's footprint is the new look of the 203 rooms and suites. The design features notes of greens and blues inspired by the waters of the Arabian Gulf.

Overseen by executive chef Michael Kreiling, the property’s nine restaurants and lounges were also refurbished. This includes the signature Japanese restaurant UMI, centred around entertaining Teppanyaki demonstrations, as well as the American-style steakhouse Lexington Grill & Bar, popular for its dry-aged steak.

The newly revamped Sunset Beach Lounge will feature live DJ sets inspired by the sunset views. New to the resort is Ras Al Khaimah’s first cigar bar Sijar Lounge.

Kids will now be offered a junior check-in, special amenities and a dedicated children's club. In addition, the resort’s concierge programme, Little Hotelier, allows children to step into the world of hospitality for a day and learn new skills.
