Turkey's Maxx Royal Bodrum Resort now open

The hotel is home to a 4,500sqm spa and branches of The Maine and Caviar Kaspia

Maxx Royal Resorts has opened its third property. Maxx Royal Bodrum Resort, located on the northern coastline of Turkey’s Bodrum peninsula, is slated by the company “to become one the the most prestigious addresses on the jet-set Bodrum scene this summer”. 

The property has 282 suites and private villas built into the forested hillside. All come with private balconies and terraces overlooking the Aegean Sea.

The 1,063sqm Presidential Villa has five bedrooms, and a heated seawater pool, steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi. All villa guests staying seven nights or more are offered a complimentary trip on the Maxx Royal yacht.

The resort has seven restaurants, including an outpost of Wolfgang Puck’s Spago, serving the chef’s signature American-Italian cuisine, including his renowned smoked salmon pizza. 

The restaurant line-up also includes Parisian import Caviar Kaspia; The Maine, by Montreal "gastropreneur" Joey Ghazal, following branches in London and Ibiza; Alfredo Russo's ORO serving contemporary Italian dishes and a number of Turkish-inspired restaurants and cafes. Six bars complete the F&B portfolio.

Its 4,500sqm Maxx WellBeing Centre encompasses 20 treatment rooms, a fitness studio, hydro and thermal experiences and a full fitness class calendar. 

Maxxi Land kids’ club is cited as being the largest in the region, accommodating children from one-year-olds through to teenagers.

The hotel's design incorporates work by internationally-recognised artists and is home to two art galleries, which will be open to non-residents. 

Guests can also partake in a number of local cultural experiences curated to showcase Turkey’s rich heritage, including visits to Unesco’s Ephesus Ancient City.

Maxx Royal Bodrum is a member of the Leading Hotels of the World. The new resort joins the brand’s other two properties in its portfolio: Maxx Royal Belek Golf Resort and Maxx Royal Kemer Resort in Antalya. Talks are underway for a fourth property opening in the Maldives in 2025.
