OAG has listed the airlines most likely to be on time
Global aviation analytics group Official Airline Guides Database (OAG) has named Etihad Airways as the most punctual airline in the Middle East.
On-time performance is defined by OAG as a flight arriving within 15 minutes of its scheduled time and Etihad achieved an on-time arrival within 15 minutes 81% of the time.
The carrier also continued to maintain one of the lowest flight cancellation rates worldwide.

Commenting on the news, Etihad Airways chief operating officer Mohammad Al Bulooki said: "Our commitment to our guests, flying for business or leisure, is that Etihad delivers to its schedule; the airline continues to strive to increase its reliability through the efforts of its people and the deployment of technology and innovation.”
Elsewhere in the Middle East airline ranking, Emirates came second, followed by Gulf Air, then Qatar Airways, Saudia, Oman Air and Royal Jordanian.
