Casa de las Artes Meliá Collection hotel is in Madrid's Literary Quarter
The new Casa de las Artes Meliá Collection hotel is now open in Madrid.
Located in Barrio de las Letras, the Literary Quarter, the hotel pays homage to the seven fine arts from the city’s literary epicentre: painting, sculpture, music, dance, literature, architecture and film.
Situated between Calle Atocha and Calle Moratín, the 137-key Casa de las Artes hotel offers guests a programme of activities designed to immerse them in the fine arts. They can engage with culture through workshops, temporary exhibitions and film series.
Among the cultural spaces within the hotel, the private cinema room is notable, inspired by the classic Hollywood screening rooms of the 1950s, providing a nostalgic connection with film.

Literary enthusiasts can browse the hotel’s bookshelves, while those seeking relaxation will appreciate the hotel’s leisure spaces, including a thermal pool, inspired by historical Roman Baths, and a fitness centre, which – in a nod to the art of dance – has a ballet barre.
Named after the papier mâché technique, Mache restaurant fuses international and Madrilenian cuisine in a striking dining room that offers signature cocktails alongside Spanish staples such as croquetas and jamon Iberico.
The hotel's opening marks the arrival of The Meliá Collection brand to the Iberian Peninsula.
