Sofitel Dubai The Palm to host Latin America’s Best Female Chef

The tasting menu will run from 28 February to 31 March as part of the hotel's 'Epicure Culinary Month'

Sofitel Dubai The Palm has announced the launch of its inaugural culinary festival, Epicure Culinary Month, inviting the region's foodies to embark on a series of gastronomic adventures. 

Launching later this month, Epicure Culinary Month will highlight the skills of the hotel’s chefs as well as showcasing visiting culinary talents in a series of dining experiences.

The highlight of the line-up is a four-hands dinner by Sofitel’s Jacob Nava Villarreal, chef de cuisine at Moana Seafood Restaurant, and Brazilian chef Manoella Buffara, named Latin America’s Best Female Chef in 2022.

For five nights from 28 February to 1 March 2023, diners will have the opportunity to feast on a six- or nine-course menu of Latin American delicacies crafted by Manoella and Jacob. The menu is priced at AED399 (US$110) per person for a six-course and AED599 (US$165) for a nine-course tasting menu.

Then, on Friday 17 March, the Epicure Evening Brunch will take place at the hotel's Maui Terrace. The one-off event will feature cooking stations manned by six of the hotel's restaurant teams. The evening includes free-flowing drinks and entertainment, and is priced at AED499 (US$135) per person.

Throughout March, guests can also take part in activities including mixology and wine tasting. In addition, Epicure Culinary Month menus will be offered at six of the hotel's signature restaurants.

Those wanting to experience the activations can book one of the several Epicurean Staycation packages starting from AED1,800 (US$490) per room, per night including a set menu and breakfast at one of the participating restaurants for two adults.
