Diletta Guarino brings 20 years of international luxury and ultra-luxury experience to the role

Six Senses Zighy Bay, the Omani village-inspired resort located on Oman’s northern Musandam Peninsula, has announced the internal promotion of Diletta Guarino, as its new general manager.

Guarino’s journey began with two masters degrees in Hospitality Management and Human Resources Management and Services from SIST Management School and IAF School in Rome, followed by a career in luxury hotels between London and Rome.

Her love and connection to nature drew her to Six Senses Zighy Bay where she has conceived and implemented successful strategies, while fostering innovation and creativity. In her new role, she aims to elevate guests’ experience even further, cementing the Omani property as an undisputed leader and source of inspiration in the global luxury hospitality scene.

A passionate and inspirational hands-on hotelier, Guarino initially joined the property in 2021 as resort manager bringing a blend of femininity, sensitivity and determination to her role, having led the property’s nearly 500-strong team.

Commenting on her new role, Guarino said: “I’m thrilled to embark on this new role. Six Senses Zighy Bay is an undisputed icon in the industry, and I’ve always admired the brand’s deep commitment to sustainability and authentic travel experiences. Therefore, I’m extremely grateful to be able to continue to be part of this exceptional journey.

“In the past few months, we have worked hard to design and implement new out-of-the-ordinary experiences to better showcase this extraordinary destination and we can’t wait to reveal them soon.”
