Six Senses Southern Dunes, The Red Sea offers introductory deal

Among the first to open in The Red Sea, the resort is home to 40 pool villas

Saudi Arabia’s Six Senses Southern Dunes, The Red Sea is now welcoming guests with a special deal.

On bookings made before 31 December 2023, guests will receive a complimentary 30-minute biohacking experience, early check-in from 10am and late check-out until 4pm (subject to availability), one Earth Lab experience and, for those staying in villas, one in-villa private barbecue experience.

Constructed using locally sourced materials, the resort’s 36 guest rooms and 40 pool villas have been designed by British eco-friendly architectural firm Foster + Partners, and placed in strategic locations to maximise the expansive views of the surrounding dunes and wadi.

As with all Six Senses properties, sustainability is at the forefront of the resort's operations. Aiming to be the first LEED Platinum resort in Saudi Arabia, its electricity is powered entirely by its own solar farm.

Still and sparkling water is bottled at the on-site water plant and a plastic-free policy is in place, while the onsite Earth Lab offers workshops that bring conservation to life in a playful and engaging way.

There are four restaurants on site, as well as a cooking school, a private chef's table and a Gelato Pod, and, in line with the brand's Eat With Six Senses ethos, ingredients are grown in the chef's garden or sourced locally with a focus on health and wellbeing.

Facilities include a salon, barber and biohacking recovery lounge, as well as three single and two double treatment rooms and a hammam, while the Frankincense Suite offers Rasul treatments.

There's also an Alchemy Bar where spices and fragrances once traded by the Nabateans are used to make clean skincare products. The Arabic influences continue on the Desert Bliss quartz sand treatment bed.

The fully equipped gym is complemented by a separate spin studio and a yoga suite (aerial yoga is available alongside more traditional forms), while the changing rooms feature saunas, a cold plunge pool and a steam room.
