New seats will be retrofitted in current fleet and feature in all future aircraft
Saudia has unveiled a range of new seat models. The move is one of several initiatives aimed at enhancing the travel experience for passengers.
During a three-day event, which took place at the Saudia club, the carrier exhibited a range of seating models for both Business and Economy class seats.
The new Business class suite features a fully flat 180-degree seat with automatic sliding doors. Some suites also boast a 32-inch screen with 4K resolution.

The Economy class seat models were equipped with storage areas and 13.3-inch seat-back entertainment screens.
The new seats are intended to be installed in Saudia’s forthcoming fleet of 39 Boeing B787 Dreamliner aircraft, scheduled to start flying in 2025.
The airline is also making improvements to its current fleet of Airbus A330 and Boeing B777, retrofitting the airplanes and upgrading the in-flight entertainment systems with a new system called Beyond.
