Saudi Arabia’s national carrier is simplifying the entry process for international tourists
Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) has announced the launch of a programme that will enable its passengers to enter the kingdom with a visa linked to the flight ticket.
According to a Saudia spokesperson, the new programme will provide passengers with access to a Saudi tourist visa when they purchase a ticket.

Travellers will be asked if they require a visa during the ticket booking process and can complete the visa application procedure on the same site without the need for visiting the Ministry website.
The news comes after conflicting reports in the press about the Covid-19 requirements for Hajj pilgrims visiting Saudi Arabia. Currently, the Saudia website does not list requirements, instead directing users to a Skyteam members’ Covid-19 information page, which contains a form for visitors to complete, requesting passport country of origin, departure country and destination in order to list all travel requirements.
