Royal Jordanian Airlines renews agreement with Travelport

The distribution agreement will help support the airline's growth strategy

Global technology company Travelport has inked a new deal with Royal Jordanian Airlines, the flagship carrier airline of Jordan, for the distribution and operator agreements to deepen their decades-long partnership.

Travelport, which powers travel bookings for hundreds of thousands of travel suppliers worldwide, will support the airline’s technological transformation alongside its portal, Travelport+. 

Royal Jordanian Airlines and Travelport have also renewed the operator agreement for Royal Jordanian Airlines’ distribution of Travelport+ to agencies in Jordan.

Karim Makhlouf, chief commercial officer at Royal Jordanian said: “Throughout our decades-long partnership, we have been impressed with the cooperation and adaptability that Travelport has demonstrated as a partner. After 25 years of cooperation, David Gomes, head of Commercial, Air Partners EMEA at Travelport, said the distribution agreement renewal will help support the airline's growth strategy.
