Acclaimed Singaporean chef to curate two menus in March
Six Senses Zighy Bay will host famed Dubai-based chef and restaurateur Reif Othman for a culinary pop-up this March.
Dubai-based Othman was awarded the Chefs’ Choice Award in the inaugural MENA 50 Best Restaurants 2022 line-up.
His Six Senses Zighy Bay offering will feature two bespoke menus crafted by Othman in collaboration with the resort’s F&B team.
From 28 to 30 March 2024, the first part of the collaboration will unfold at Sense on The Edge, the resort’s mountain top restaurant 293 metres above sea level for a kaiseki-style selection of small bites. Dishes will include a caviar tart and oven-baked cod with wasabi jalapeno sauce.

Continuing the journey on 31 March, guests will be treated to an Easter pop-up menu. The dishes will celebrate Eastern flavours, paying homage to Reif’s roots while showcasing local ingredients, from the local catch of the day to vegetables sourced from the resort’s organic Dibba farm and on-site garden.
Six Senses Zighy Bay general manager Diletta Guarino expressed her excitement saying: “Chef Reif is a true icon, and it is an absolute honour to welcome him to the resort, creating such an out-of-the-ordinary experience for our guests.”
Othman currently oversees eight successful restaurants across the UAE to Egypt.
