Omani Teacher’s Day will be marked on 25 February
Travel agents are creating itineraries for Omani teachers and there families after government officials announces a three-day weekend for Oman's education sector.
Oman’s Ministry of Education has confirmed that, in celebration of Omani Teacher’s Day, Sunday 25 February will be a holiday for all educational institutions across the country.

Omani Teacher’s Day is observed every year on 24 February, resulting in a day off for educators and administrative staff in the educational sector. However, the ministry decided that, as 24 February falls on a Saturday, the national holiday will be rolled over Sunday 25 February in 2024, the start of Oman's working week.
Both private and public schools will be closed from the 23 to 25 February, resulting in a long weekend for employees and creating opportunities for short-haul travel suppliers.
