Dubai-based Raw Earth curates meaningful expeditions to remote destinations
New travel company, Raw Earth, has launched in Dubai, offering small-group curated adventure trips to the world’s most remote destinations, starting with Kyrgyzstan in June 2025.
The launch comes as interest in adventure travel grows in the Middle East, with four in five travellers in Saudi and the UAE (83% and 80%, respectively) looking to be more “daring” on vacation, recent research from Marriott shows.
Founded by adventure strategist Aishwarya Searing and over-landing expert Aditya Malaker, Raw Earth say they are aimed at “curious, conscious travellers seeking deeper, slower and more meaningful journeys” in destinations that are wild and remote, from high mountain passes to high-altitude deserts.
The company offers guided self-drive expeditions where guests navigate their own 4x4 vehicles in small convoys through off-the-beaten-track landscapes, supported by an expert team.

Every detail is curated, from the routes and boutique accommodations to local storytelling and authentic cultural experiences with local partners, and each expedition is kept small to minimise environmental impact.
“We design each journey to be rugged, real, and rooted in place,” says Searing. “This isn’t about checking off destinations, it’s about slowing down, tuning in and reconnecting to what travel is meant to feel like.”
Raw Earth’s debut itinerary in June will take travellers to Kyrgyzstan in central Asia. Guests will travel deep into the remote Sary-Jaz Valley and the Tian Shan mountains, accessible only by 4x4, to camp under the stars at altitudes above 4,000, visit traditional nomadic settlements and hike mountain trails.
