New London hotel bar causing a stir

The Berkeley launches rooftop attraction in time for GCC inbound travel market

Usually reserved for in-house guests The Berkeley will open its rooftop with a brand new bar to external visitors during summer, from 1 August 2023.

Located between Knightsbridge Belgravia, the Berkeley Rooftop Bar will be a draw for GCC tourists, who will be able to take in views of the city’s skyline and Hyde Park while sitting by the pool.

Guests can book a table or make themselves comfortable on one of the striped loungers, which will be available for walk-ins only.

The cocktail list of summer classics will be complemented by a menu of Mediterranean small plates ideal for sharing. 

Highlights include seared beef with truffle artichoke pesto and rocket; marinated squid with courgette spaghetti, daikon, sesame, and ginger dressing; a watermelon, cherry tomato and feta salad topped with mint dressing, and a classic bread and tomato panzanella salad.

The Berkeley Rooftop Bar will open to the public from 7pm to 11pm, Tuesday to Saturday. Tables must be booked in advance, while loungers are available on a first-come-first-served basis.
