AUH passenger traffic increased by 67% year-on-year
Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) has seen an increase of 67% in passenger traffic with 10,258,653 passengers passing through the facility between 1 January and 30 June 2023, compared to 6,158,376 passengers during the same period last year.
The number of flights at Abu Dhabi International Airport also increased with 67,835 recorded flights, representing an increase of 36% compared to 49,919 flights throughout the same period last year.

The top five destinations with the highest passenger traffic served by the airport in H1 are:
- Mumbai (461,081)
- London (374,017)
- Delhi (331,722)
- Kochi (316,460)
- Doha (261,117)
Abu Dhabi Airports chief operations officer Frank McCrorie said: “Our passenger traffic figures for the first half of 2023 highlights our extensive efforts to support Abu Dhabi’s increasingly vibrant business, tourism and aviation sectors.
"Sustained increases in passenger numbers and flights also highlight Abu Dhabi Airports’ growth plans, in parallel with our exemplary operations, technological integrations and ever-expanding partnership ecosystem.”
Passengers can currently fly from Abu Dhabi International Airport to 114 destinations served by 27 airlines.
