Mondrian to open first Saudi Arabia property

The Mondrian Riyadh Al Malga Hotel and Residences will be located in Al Malga Urban Village

Ennismore has announced plans for the Mondrian Riyadh Al Malga Hotel and Residences to open in 2026.

The property will have 200 keys, including 130 rooms and suites, with 25 one-bedroom, 35 two-bedroom and 10 three-bedroom serviced apartments.

Onsite, there will be three restaurants and lounges by Ennismore’s in-house F&B concept studio, Carte Blanched, as well as event and wellness spaces, paving the way for Mondrian’s progressive programming.

Mondrian Riyadh Al Malga will be brought to life by award-winning interior architect Tristan Di Plessis, and the hotel and development will be LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certified – constructed with a focus on energy savings, water efficiency, reduced carbon emissions and improved indoor air quality.

Located in the northern part of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia’s capital and main financial hub, the Al Malga neighbourhood is at the entrance of the recently announced 400-metre-high cube-shaped skyscraper Mukaab, part of the capital’s Murabba Downtown plan.
