Marriott’s Fadeel Wehbe to lead 4 additional properties

Aloft Al Mina, Aloft Dubai Airport, Element Al Mina and Element Dubai Airport will join his portfolio

Recently appointed by Marriott International as multi-property general manager at Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre and Le Méridien Fairway, Fadeel Wehbe will now take on an additional four hotels.  

Wehbe, who holds a degree in hotel and restaurant management from the University of Denver Colorado, will now manage an extended portfolio of hotels including Aloft Al Mina, Aloft Dubai Airport, Element Al Mina and Element Dubai Airport.

Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre alone is home to 17 food and beverage outlets, including Warehouse, The Dubliner's, Yalumba, Kiku, Bounty Beets and Casa Mia. In his new role, Wehbe is now responsible for a total 1,245 rooms, 29 F&B outlets and more than 1,200 associates.

Commenting on the announcement, Wehbe said: “I'm delighted to be working with the teams from each of the six hotels across three brands building on the existing success of these fabulous properties, and the brilliant staff that make them so.”

With a career that spans 30 years, Wehbe has previously held leadership roles at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel and Residences, Fairmont Amman and Accor Hospitality Middle East.
