Mandarin Oriental to launch Mediterranean private island property

The villa is part of Mandarin Oriental’s Exclusive Homes portfolio

Discerning travellers seeking privacy paired with Mandarin Oriental’s renowned service and hospitality this summer can rent a five-bedroom finca-style villa perched on a 148-acre Mediterranean private island, just off the coast of Ibiza in Spain’s Balearic Islands.

The Tagamago property is part of Mandarin Oriental’s Exclusive Homes portfolio, a handpicked collection of luxurious private homes in the world’s most sought-after locations.

Available from summer 2022, Tagomago is a private island just five minutes by boat from the bay of Pou des Lleo, situated on the northeast coast of Ibiza. The villa has access to its own private beaches, a saltwater pool and Jacuzzi, a fitness area and water sports centre complete with a jet ski and waterskiing and windsurfing equipment. Boat charters can also be arranged, allowing guests to explore the hidden coves of Ibiza or the clear waters and white-sand beaches of Ibiza’s laid-back sister island Formentera.

Those looking for a more relaxed retreat can request sunrise or sunset yoga or sound healing at the villa. Bespoke wellness treatments from Mandarin Oriental-approved therapists can also be arranged.

A dedicated concierge and butler who will be on-hand 24/7 is included in the stay to assist with pre-arrival requests and to arrange local experiences. Also included is a private chef service, overseen by Mandarin Oriental’s culinary experts, who will design bespoke menus based on guest preferences and local seasonal produce, and a daily housekeeping service carried out to Mandarin Oriental’s exacting standards.

Rates start from €20,450 per night. A seven-night minimum stay applies from June to September, while a four-night minimum stay applies from October to May. Rates include a butler, chef, concierge service, boat captain, housekeeping, maintenance and villa host.
