Jeremie de Fombelle aims to elevate the group’s positioning with awareness-driving strategies
Hospitality group The Lux Collective has appointed Jeremie de Fombelle as chief sales and marketing officer.
Already a staff member, de Fombelle's promotion is in line with the group's vision of developing talent from within.
In 2014, de Fombelle moved to Mauritius and became the general manager of LUX* Le Morne and was later appointed regional general manager for Mauritius and Reunion Island for LUX* Resorts & Hotels.
De Fombelle graduated from the Vatel International Business School in his native France after attending the University of Law of Paris and graduate programmes at Cornell University.
His career began in Vietnam in 1999 at Victoria Hotels and Resorts, then he went on to Cambodia in 2002 to work as GM of La Noria Hotel before moving to Belmond La Résidence Phou Vao in 2005.
Accruing more than two decades of leadership and operational experience in luxury hospitality management, de Fombelle now aims to elevate the positioning of The Lux Collective by focusing on awareness-driving strategies for its portfolio of brands globally.
Commenting on the announcement, The Lux Collective chief executive officer Paul Jones said: “Jeremie has a proven track record across multiple properties and success in managing luxury lifestyle hotels and brand development, as well as hotel and restaurant openings. We're confident that under his leadership, The Lux Collective will emerge as a leading world-class hospitality group.”
