Event to take place in Turin in June
The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025 awards ceremony will be hosted in Turin in Italy’s Piedmont region on 19 June 2025.
It marks the first time the world-renowned awards ceremony will be held in Italy.
Renowned for its food, wine, culture and architectural beauty, the Piedmont region was considered "a natural fit" to host the annual gathering of the international restaurant community.
An extensive event programme will conclude with the awards ceremony on 19 June when The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025 ranking will be revealed.

William Drew, Director of Content for The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, said: “Turin is a culinary capital in its own right and we are thrilled to be heading there, and indeed the wider region of Piedmont, for the event programme and awards ceremony to celebrate The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025.
“The time is ripe for 50 Best to make its debut in Italy, where a culture of food and hospitality is so intrinsic to society. We look forward to gathering the global restaurant community together in this deeply historic, epicurean and charming destination.”
Alberto Cirio, President of Piedmont Region, added: “It represents a great opportunity for the region to tell its story and let more people discover and experience the beauty of our Piedmont."
The June event programme will be preceded by several awards announcements, designed to honour the achievements of individuals and establishments in the lead-up to the awards ceremony itself.
