‘Palace within a Palace’ concept aims to elevate India's luxury hospitality market
An exclusive collection of ‘ultra-luxury’ villas has opened at India’s five-star Leela Palace Udaipur.
Arq by The Leela is being touted as "a new standard of Indian luxury, where every experience is refined, elevated and tailored to offer immersive indulgence".
Set on Lake Pichola, each villa blends luxury with Indian heritage, with design elements including inlaid wooden floors, traditional Thikri artwork and lapis stones.
Already ranked the fourth-best hotel in India in the 2024 Condé Nast Traveller’s Readers’ Choice Awards, the new villas sees the Leela Palace Udaipur take the luxury experience one step further

The official opening of Arq by The Leela was hosted by Princess Gauravi Kumari and attended by notable names from the film and creative industry, including Huma Qureshi, Diana Penty, Karishma Tanna, Lisa Mishra, Namita Alexander and Shakun Batra.
The unveiling of Arq by The Leela in Udaipur is the first in a series of spaces under the Arq by The Leela branding to be introduced across The Leela’s portfolio.
