Kifah Bin Hussein will lead the 257-room hotel
Hyatt Regency Riyadh Olaya has appointed Hyatt veteran Kifah Bin Hussein as its new general manager.
With more than 23 years of experience in hospitality, Bin Hussein will be tasked with bringing a new vision and strategy to the role. He will also be responsible for driving revenue and managing the service offering, F&B outlets and the male and female spas.
Most recently he oversaw the pre-opening of Andaz Dubai The Palm, a concept by Hyatt, and then Hyatt Regency Makkah as general manager.
Bin Hussein began his career in 1998 in the F&B division at Grand Hyatt Amman, Jordan before moving to Grand Hyatt Dubai (2003), Hyatt Regency Warsaw (2007), and then to Hyatt Regency Dubai (2008) where he was responsible for the property's F&B operations (11 restaurants, lounges, and indoor and outdoor banqueting).
Speaking about his appointment, Bin Hussein said: “The fast-paced economic and social transformation and growth in Saudi Arabia is evident in Riyadh, a buzzing city that's becoming multicultural and open to global tourism. It gives me great satisfaction to be part of the current transformation. KSA is rooted in hospitality and limitless generosity, with the potential to lead global tourism growth.”
