Etihad Airways to launch direct flights from Abu Dhabi to Poland and Czechia

New Warsaw and Prague services to take off in summer 2025

Etihad Airways is adding new direct flights to Warsaw, Poland and Prague (pictured), Czechia to its growing network.

When the flights begin in June 2025, the UAE national carrier will launch four weekly flights to each of the capital cities. 

These routes will be operated by Etihad’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner, which has 28 Business Class and 262 Economy Class seats on each flight.

The flights to Prague, which commence 2 June 2025, will operate on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, departingAbu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport at 2:50am, arriving in Prague at 7:15am (local time). Return flights will leave the Czechian capital at 11:20am arriving back in the UAE capital at 7:05pm.

The services to Warsaw, which will commence on 3 June 2025, will operate on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. It will leave Abu Dhabi at 2:45am, arriving in the Polish capital at 6:50am (local time), with the return flight to leave Warsaw at 11:15am, getting back into Abu Dhabi at 7pm.

According to the airline, tourist numbers from Poland and Czechia to the UAE have surged recently. The introduction of direct flights between Abu Dhabi and Warsaw and Prague is set to provide tourists with a convenient way to experience the UAE capital.

The news comes just a week after Air Arabia announced it was commencing direct flights between Sharjah and Warsaw on 20 December 2024.
