Etihad Airways to serve first class meals on Armani/Casa plates

The Giorgio Armani-designed dining service will launch onboard in December

Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways will serve luxury on a plate thanks to a new partnership with Armani/Casa, the homeware branch of designer Giorgio Armani's lifestyle empire. The upgrade in tableware aims to elevate the premium travel experience for its passengers.

Armani/Casa's Constellation Collection dining service, comprises ceramics, glassware, cutlery, serving ware and textiles and has a colour palette that reflects the surroundings of Abu Dhabi; dark green inspired by date palm trees, aquamarine representing mangroves and slate to symbolise the capital’s skyline.

Created with sustainability in mind, the collection’s durable, high-quality materials and innovative designs will result in the reduction of equipment weight by up to 10%, resulting in less fuel burn and paired emissions.
