The partnership provides access to 25 cities in Indonesia via Dubai

Emirates has activated its codeshare partnership with Batik Air, expanding choice and connectivity options for its customers with access to 25 Indonesian destinations on a single ticket with a consolidated baggage policy, meaning luggage will be handled from the start to the end of journeys.

Under the newly activated agreement, Emirates has placed its code on eight routes operated by Batik Air via Jakarta to Balikpapan (BPN), Denpasar (DPS), Medan (KNO), Manado (MDC), Padang (PDG), Surakarta (SOC), Surabaya (SUB) and Makassar (UPG).

Via an interline agreement, Emirates customers can also access 17 more domestic Indonesian destinations via Jakarta and Denpasar, with onward flights to cities such as Praya (LOP), Semarang (SRG) and Sorong (SOQ).
