Emirates airline celebrated Valentine’s Day in a big way

Emirates airline celebrated Valentine’s Day in a big way

Love is in the airline...

On 14 February 2024, Emirates passengers in all classes were treated to mini red velvet cupcakes adorned with hearts presented in a gift box, while red mood lighting will light up aircrafts.

The A380 Onboard Lounges served pink and red cupcakes, and First Class customers were welcomed onboard with a glass of Dom Pérignon Rosé 2008, while Business Class customers received Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial.

Passengers could tune into more than 90 romantic comedies and dramas on inflight entertainment system ICE, including new releases Craft Me a Romance and Ageless Love, and all-time classics When Harry Met Sally, The Way We Were and The Notebook.

In Dubai's Emirates Lounges, First Class customers were offered desserts of passionfruit pavlova with Chantilly cream and an array of red mocktails and cocktails, while Business Class customers had Valentine’s verbena cakes, strawberry and yuzu Valentine’s tartlets and a fragrant hibiscus, strawberry and almond mousse.

Both First and Business Class passengers could visit Emirates' old-fashioned ice cream carts, parked in lounges, to grab homemade strawberry cheesecake ice cream and raspberry and rose sorbet, while the complimentary Costa Coffee café served heart-shaped donuts and chocolates.

In addition, last-minute shoppers could buy Valentine’s gifts featured in the EmiratesRED inflight magazine. In addition, customers can save with EmiratesRED when buying any two fragrances to get US$15 off on brands such as Amouage, Givenchy, YSL, Creed, Versace, Cartier and Hermes. Emirates customers are invited to use the code RED10 at checkout to save an additional 10%.
