Dubai’s Michelin-starred restaurants of 2023 revealed

The second edition of the Michelin Guide Dubai features new star winners

The Michelin Guide 2023 restaurant selection for Dubai was revealed today – Tuesday 23 May – at Atlantis The Royal, highlighting three new one Michelin star restaurants, one new two Michelin star restaurant and two new Michelin Green star restaurants.

The biggest news of the day was that another Dubai restaurant earned two stars for the first time. As well as being one of only three two-star restaurants in Dubai, it's one of only two Indian restaurants in the world to boast two stars – and that accolade goes to Trèsind Studio.

Local celebrity chef Himanshu Saini and his team have settled into their new location for Trèsind Studio at Nakheel Mall, with its rooftop terrace and cosy cocktail bar, while Saini has continued to expand his repertoire of winning Indian dishes (pictured) with a series of collaborations.

Two restaurants retained their two-Michelin-star rating in 2023:

  • Il Ristorante – Niko Romito, Bulgari Dubai
Romito’s menu features modern Italian fare with high-quality ingredients flown in from Italy. Highlights include fish and pasta dishes. His flagship Reale restaurant in Castel di Sangro, Italy has already earned three Michelin stars.
  • Stay by Yannick Alléno, One&Only The Palm
Versions of dishes from Yannick’s highly acclaimed three-Michelin-starred restaurant in Paris, Alléno Paris au Pavillon Ledoyen, such as the langoustine and caviar tartlet with a warm lemon butter sauce, can also be sampled in Dubai at Stay by Yanick Alléno. Expect French cooking at its finest.
