The Link has made One Za’abeel the world's longest cantilevered building
The Link – a sky concourse connecting the two towers housing Dubai's new One&Only One Za’abeel hotel – has earned the building the Guinness World Record title for the ‘Longest Cantilevered Building’ in the world.
The Link is 230 metres in length, dissecting One Za’abeel’s skyscrapers 100 metres above ground level, while its record-breaking cantilever extends just over 67 metres beyond the main tower.
Most impressively, The Link is home to some of Dubai's most exciting new restaurants. Renowned for his three-Michelin-starred restaurant, Noor, in Córdoba, Spain, chef Paco Morales made his Dubai debut with Qabu, celebrating the opulent legacy of Al-Andalus with a befitting cuisine fusing elements of Western and Arabian culture. Inspired tasting menus tell a story and are as visually arresting as the glass-sided sky-high dining room in The Link.
Other culinary highlights include La Dame de Pic, the epitomy of sophisticated French dining by culinary powerhouse Anne-Sophie Pic, whose global portfolio of restaurants hold 10 Michelin stars, and Sagetsu, helmed by Australia’s Tetsuya Wakuda who uses French culinary precision and Japanese plating to create show-stopping dishes that have previously earned his eponymous flagship restaurant two Michelin stars.
