Celebrity chef Jason Atherton hosts the 10-part series
Visit Dubai, in association with Rock Oyster Media, is set to launch a new 10-part television series promoting the emirate's culinary prowess to the UK market.
Dubai Dishes is back for a second season, airing on UK channel ITV1, starting on 3 August 2024.
Host and celebrity chef Jason Atherton, along with Good Morning Britain host Ranvir Singh and a selection of Dubai's local chefs will take viewers on a culinary journey through Dubai's vibrant neighbourhoods and food culture.
With more than 13,000 dining establishments ranging from fine dining restaurants to family-friendly venues and independent cafes, Dubai's menu are inspired by the more than 200 nationalities that form its 'melting pot' community.
This season, Dubai Dishes takes a neighbourhood-driven approach. Each episode will take viewers to notable locations in the emirate, such as Palm Jumeirah and Downtown Dubai, as well as lesser-known areas such as Al Quoz and the Hajar Mountains, exploring themes including preserves, third culture cuisine, traditional food, café culture and sustainable eating.

The series will highlight homegrown concepts and local stories, showcasing how the city's diverse population influences its evolving food scene.
Jason meets inspiring foodie residents along the way to create three recipes per episode, spotlighting the unique ingredients that make up each dish.
The series features appearances by other notable chefs including Himanshu Saini (Trésind Studio); Spencer Metzger (Row on 45); Eva Halasa (Three by Eva); Kelvin Cheung (Jun’s); Soleman Haddad (Moonrise), and Steve Flawith (Pickl), to name a few.
“I am so thrilled that I was asked to do another season of Dubai Dishes,” said Atherton, who launched City Social and Row on 45 at Grosvenor House, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Dubai in 2023.
“Dubai holds a very special place in my heart. To have the chance to be there cooking with some of my favourite chefs and producers, and visit some incredible places, is a dream. I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed filming it."
